Are you writing to an e-mail address related to the website of the company that you are contacting ( ie. info@le-tour.co.uk) or is it just ……..@hotmail.com?
Is the telephone number on the website a landline ( 0207 328 9500 ), an 0800 number or even just a mobile number?
When calling a number do you get an immediate response ? after 3 rings? Does it always go to answer machine ? Does someone call you back from a different number ? From a mobile? Does the same person always answer the phone no matter what time of the day/night it is ? Can you speak to someone else in that organisation like accounts or the manager? Is the company registered/licensed by the local authority?
What is the turnaround time of your inquiry ? Has someone come back to you ( not auto reply ) to inform you that your e-mail has been received and is being dealt with . how long did that first reply take ? 5 minutes or up to three days?
These are just a few points to asses if you are dealing with a company who have a ful office support in case you need it or just one man driving a car and dealing with you if and when he can? |
